Wonderful Pistachios isn’t on Rainbow Grocery Cooperative’s shelf yet. The opening: 1 category where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with No Shells, 3 Flavors Mixed Variety Pack of 9 (0.75 Ounce), Roasted & Salted Nuts (4), Chili (3), Honey (2), Protein Snacks, Gluten Free, Healthy Snacks Variety Pack for Adults in Almonds.
Rainbow Grocery Cooperative stocks almonds thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
Rainbow Grocery Cooperative carries almonds in real depth, 28 SKUs against a fleet median of 13, so a new entry there is the Nth option, and its per-unit price would likely sit near the top of a crowded shelf.
