HIPPIE ORGANICS isn’t on Gus's Community Market’s shelf yet in any of its 4 stores. The opening: 2 categories where the shelf is already deep and the brand runs strong elsewhere.
Lead with Mango Fries Organic, 8 Ounce in Other Snacks.
Gus's Community Market stocks other snacks thinly, so a differentiated snack stands out instead of becoming the Nth option on a crowded shelf. It already earns space at 1 other Bay Area grocer.
Gus's Community Market carries blueberries in real depth, 20 SKUs against a fleet median of 3.5, so a new entry there is the Nth option, and its per-unit price would likely sit near the top of a crowded shelf. The more differentiated opening is other snacks: Gus's Community Market stocks only 11 there, so Mango Fries Organic, 8 Ounce stands out rather than blending in. Lead with the other snacks, and position the blueberries as a finishing or gift item.
